This session is focused on what individuals and organization can do today to improve the BA role through taking action within the organization versus focusing on outside training. This seminar will bring to life real-world examples of how to develop the BA community within your company. It will give you some ideas of how to improve your personal knowledge and experience to become more adept BA. We’ll explore best practices that you can take home and start using tomorrow with the tools that your company already has in place.

Ginger Sundberg, Senior Business Analyst, CBAP, SunTrust Banks
As one of the first 100 individuals to be awarded the Business Analyst certification (CBAP) through the International Institute of Business Analyst (IIBA), Ginger has gone on to lead multiple study groups to help other individuals achieve their certification. She offers 10 years of proven leadership experience directing strategic projects and technology implementations to achieve maximum business results. Significant experience working with Senior Management in Fortune 500 companies, financial corporations, Federal Government, and Georgia State Government with demonstrated success related to technology solutions, change management, operations and strategic planning. She has a proven ability to assess situations quickly, gather needed data, and analysis inputs to set forth the best recommended solution and strategic plan of attack to achieve the desired results. In addition to leadership roles served within SunTrust, Ginger serves as the current Vice President of Education of SunTrust Toastmasters and has achieved both the Competent Communicator and Competent Leadership awards. Ginger also serves as the President of Spring Hill College Atlanta Alumni Chapter. Ginger Sundberg enjoys exploring new boundaries not only in her career, but also in her personal life through kayaking and hiking.
