Jennifer Battan is a Certified Business Analysis Professional with experience in requirements analysis and process reengineering. In her current role as Senior Business Analyst at Data Recognition Corporation (DRC), she is responsible for the analysis and documentation activities of two enterprise level systems: an application security system and a data management application. This includes leading requirements workshops, high level design and JAD sessions, as well as conducting training programs for both systems. Prior to working at DRC, Jennifer wore several hats at CarSoup.com. This included working with auto dealers, private sellers, and site users across the country to gather requirements for process and site enhancements.
Jennifer is CBAP #104, having earned the designation within the first year it was offered by the IIBA. She continues to volunteer with the Minneapolis IIBA Chapter and has recently completed work with the IIBA International’s Practitioner Review Committee for version 2.0 of the BABOK.
Jennifer is an active member of Toastmasters International, having earned the Advanced Communicator Bronze and Advanced Leader designations. In 2007, she was selected as Area and Division Toastmaster of the Year and has held offices at the club and district level. She speaks regularly for business and community audiences on a variety of topics.
