The Next Step: Questioning and Negotiation Techniques for the Business Analyst

Description Speaker(s)

Just a few years ago, when the BA became proficient in their role, they grew up to become a PM. That is no longer the case, as Business Analysis is now a recognised profession with genuine career paths. This seminar is aimed at BAs wishing to undertake the next step in their careers by expanding their involvement across an organisation's hierarchy. Participants will be guided through an extensive range of practical, ready to use questioning and negotiation techniques that the BA can use at any level of an organisation. Presented by the very first recipient of the IIBA CBAP certification in Australia, this presentation equips the BA for immediate change in their working environment.

Learning Objectives

This presentation will enable participants to:

- Select the appropriate type of questioning techniques to suit their audience and purpose.

- Utilise a framework for successful negotiations.

- Identify opportunities for immediate use in their workplace.

Skill Level: Everyone
