Building an Analyst Community through a Center of Excellence

Imagine a thriving community within your organization where analysts learn from each other, creatively solve issues together, and continually promote the professional development of analysts. This course will introduce how to initiate an Analyst Center Of Excellence (COE) within an organization, how to engage analysts throughout the organization to create a thriving community, and finally how to keep your COE productive for the long term. Learn about insights gained one year after the creation of the Center of Excellence and specific traps to avoid as the COE continues forward.

Renee Saint-Louis, The Schwan Food Company

 

Renee Saint-Louis is a Sr. Systems Analyst with a subsidiary of The Schwan Food Company where she established and led an Analyst Center of Excellence for the past year. Prior to joining Schwan, Renee served as the Requirements Elicitation Practice Lead at a large insurance company in the Pacific Northwest. Renee has been a practicing analyst for more than 10 years within the retail, insurance and manaufacturing industries. Renee has also served as a business analyst educator, teaching courses on requirements elicitation techniques, writing use cases, and user acceptance testing.
